From May 31 to June 6, 2027, Montreal will be all about climate.
Montreal, September 10, 2026 – Next year, three major events dedicated to the transition, namely Montréal Climate Week, the Sustainable Finance Summit, and the Montréal Climate Summit, will come together for a full week of events designed around a common ambition: connecting the forces of the field, finance, and political and economic circles to accelerate the transition in the Metropolis.
The three events will be linked to create a complementary and coherent programming. Montreal Climate Week will hold its second edition from May 31 to June 6, 2027 with events across the Greater Montréal; the Montreal Climate Summit will open on May 31, followed by a joint event on June 1 with the Sustainable Finance Summit, then the Sustainable Finance Summit itself will take place from June 2 to 3.
«During that week, Montreal will be all about climate. Everyone will be mobilized: citizens, cultural and community groups, the financial sector, economic and political circles. “Several voices. A movement.” the signature of Montreal Climate Week, makes sense here.”
—Juliette Champoux-Pellegrin, Executive Director and co-founder, Montreal Climate Week
«By bringing together these three major events in the same week, Montreal is giving itself the means to focus the expertise, levers of action and influence necessary to accelerate the transition. For the financial industry, this convergence is particularly strategic: it allows to better align economic and climate priorities, to highlight the sector’s expertise and to consolidate its leadership role in this transformation.”
—Florian Roulle, Vice-President, Sustainable Finance, Finance Montréal
«Montréal already has strong ecosystems, recognized expertise and a unique ability to mobilize transition stakeholders. By bringing our events together, we want to better connect these forces. Our ambition: to turn commitments into actions faster and scale solutions.”
—Marine Thomas, Director General, Climate Partnership Montreal
This unprecedented collaboration was announced as part of the first edition of Montreal Climate Week, which takes place from September 8 to 13. On this occasion, more than 130 events accessible to all are organized in the four corners of the city.
