Context
Throughout the year, the finance and sustainable initiative (FSI) organizes events, webinars, and workshops to allow the Quebecois community to gather, discuss topical issues and move forward together towards sustainable finance in Quebec.
Description
Firmly anchored in Quebec for many years, active share ownership aims to improve the environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices of companies.
Thus, the exercise of voting, shareholder dialogue and shareholder proposals are all common practices that allow investors to influence the behavior of companies, whether in terms of respect for human rights, diversity at within boards of directors or the resilience of business models in a low-carbon world.
During this exclusive webinar, our speakers will discuss how the effective implementation of a shareholder engagement approach can lead investors to have a real impact on the companies in which they operate.
