Community of Practice - Cohort 1

Join the first cohort of our Community of Practice!

Share with the community your experiences and challenges in integrating sustainability into your operational practices and business models! You'll be able to adopt key concepts of sustainable finance in a space conducive to synergies and the co-creation of Québec solutions for climate action.

and general information

Cohort composition

Number of companies per cohort: 10 to 12

Selection criteria

Type of company: Québec SMEs with fewer than 500 employees;
Business sectors: Transport, Manufacturing, Construction, Agriculture, Waste management, Services
Maturity with regard to organizational sustainability issues: advanced to medium;
Sectoral representation: it is important to ensure that the Advisory Board represents a wide range of economic sectors, such as financial services, energy, industry and technology, as well as those related to the environment and biodiversity. This will ensure a global perspective and balanced representation of the interests of the various industries affected by sustainable finance;
Motivations: the organization's willingness to improve and actively move towards sustainability;
Fluency in French: the work and discussions will be carried out in French only.

First step: call for applications using the form at the bottom of this page
Second step: analysis of applications by the initiative's governance committee
Application deadline: October 2, 2023
Announcement of selected companies: October 6, 2023
Launch of the programme: October 12, 2023

Training duration and format

5 to 6 months, with a monthly workshop lasting between 2 and 3 hours

Workshop 1 | October 12, 2023 - Climate Fresk and ideation workshop (9:00 AM to 12:00 PM)
Workshop 2 | November 09, 2023 - Experience feedback and best practices of Québec SMEs in climate action and Corporate Social Responsability (9:00 AM to 12:00 PM)
Workshop 3 | December 14, 2023 - Focus group on assessment and labeling (B-Corp, EcoVadis) (9:00 AM to 12:00 PM)
Workshop 4 | February 15, 2024 - Climate risks and resilience (9:00 AM to 12:00 PM)
Workshop 5 | March 14, 2024 - Synergy and co-construction - Now we're taking action together! (9:00 AM to 12:00 PM)
