Commercial mission in asset management - Join our delegation

Join Finance Montréal and the Institut de la finance durable in Paris from October 14 to 16, 2025, for a trade mission in asset management organized as part of the Quebec–France Corridor.

Over the course of three days, meet capital allocators, distributors, and potential European partners, while exchanging best practices in sustainable finance, financial innovation, and asset management.

This project is supported by Quebec’s Ministry of International Relations and La Francophonie and France’s Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, as part of the Standing Committee for Quebec–France Cooperation (CPCFQ).

Participation fees

• CAD 1,000 per person, invoiced the week after the mission
• 25% discount for a second participant from the same organization (CAD 750)

Available grant

With the support of Quebec’s Ministry of International Relations and La Francophonie and France’s Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Finance Montréal may award a CAD 725 travel grant per person to partially cover airfare and accommodation expenses (3 nights in Paris).

Eligibility criteria:

• Be an emerging asset manager based in Quebec (with assets under management under CAD 1 billion)
• Participate in all mission activities
• Provide receipts for airfare and accommodation

The number of grants is limited (first come, first served), with a maximum of two subsidies per organization.

The grant will be paid after the mission upon submission of the required proof of expenses and a void cheque. Failure to meet these conditions will result in the cancellation of the agreement and no payment will be made.

Day 1 – October 14, 2025, 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Theme: Positioning Quebec’s expertise and discovering the French ecosystem

• Official opening with Finance Montréal and IFD Paris
• Presentation of the Quebec and French ecosystems in sustainable asset management
• Quebec sustainable asset management showcase and presentation of your expertise
• Strategic roundtable “Quebec–France: Cross-Border Opportunities in Sustainable Investment”

Day 2 – October 15, 2025, 1:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Theme: Creating business opportunities

• Cap Intro Québec–France: structured B2B meetings between Quebec managers and French allocators
• Workshop #1: Succeeding in Distribution in France and Europe
• Workshop #2: What French Allocators Are Looking For
• Reception at the residence of the Quebec Government Representative in Paris

Day 3 – October 16, 2025, 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Theme: Building lasting connections

• Breakfast roundtables by sector
• Trade mission wrap-up and future perspectives
